I feel like, this time, there wasn't many opportunities for the new cast to show their traits/personalities and so their deaths feel less impactful than when March or even Parona died. I kind of hope this is only for this arc and that the later encounters retain this deep emotional investment in the characters so that the new developments/tragedies maintain their impact.
