If you take into account that there were no records of what happened there cus the cameras were bought, then it was simply a matter of claiming that a game happened there with Kei betting himself on it and losing. With Kei unable to deny it and the nature of Tomodachi game being as it is, The winner's words were taken as truth and Kei became his property.

Well, at least, that's just my guess.
