I guess I was partially right about her utterly annihilating it off-screen.

The One-Eyed Cult is clearly actually very bad news for Kino's goal of achieving a normal life. Hopefully her naivety and general aversion to human conflict doesn't prevent or waylay her in dealing with the cult members and saving her friend-prentice or the other sacrifices.

I do not see #11 getting merc'd here, but at least destroying or damaging that seed bulb thing would be a win for Kino.

I like how casual she slapped the heads that tried to attack her.
On the last page, Yamata no Orochi has all its heads cut off, meaning she tried really hard not to kill it, but after the first head, the other heads began to breathe fire, and so she began cutting all the heads until it died.

So number 11 was only that strong considering he couldn't kill Orochi that Kino easily subdued. Then again Orochi is supposed to be able to revive itself no matter how many times its slain so maybe its not dead yet. This would mean Kinoko's fear of getting fired won't come to pass.
