I know I'm late but if anyone wonders, the chocolate he gives her seems modeled after Scho-Ka-Kola, a dark chocolate with added caffeine (about as much as in 1 cup of coffee) issued to the German army in wwii.

Really love how you can see how Touris eyes slowly get dimmer and less sparkly as the series goes on.

But yeah, he isn’t completely heartless, he still feels sad/pain in this particular scene probably. Also he does have some redeeming qualities as seen in previous chapters, soo ye.

A couple chapters ago I said that I hate Rodri and that I hope the author gets seriously injured, but now he's one of my favourite characters. Still wish salsa didn't die

Welp... Rich boy got his arm back, but might be less scummy now that he know the healer is as crazy as the commander.

Talking about the commander, I appreciate to see his calmer side. Okay, it's because his endoctrination of Touri is paying up, but at least, now, he congratulate her and don't beat her.

Rodri is still too much of a rogue element, his psycho tendency are really a red flag 😬
