Hmmm seeing how the manga is versus the current 2nd season of anime, the anime might on the same arc the manga is heading to right now. The anime is 24 episodes long and it is still covering what it skipped from the 1st season in addition to what the manga has already covered so hopefully the manga will not be left out given its monthly release.

Anyway, somehow I am glad Hibiki did not meet Makoto; I feel she will be very annoying trying to rope Makoto to join her party to beat the demon army.

PS I think the mangaka is also kind of involved with the anime (seeing that the manga art style is close to the anime art style). The mangaka also makes promotional material for the episodes almost every week .

Thanks for the chapter! Funny how Hibbiki is imagine Kuzunoha after everybody is praising him, but is only her kohai .

I dropped anime because of faster pace and skipping, first season was fine (skipping 2 heroes part) but now is to chaotic.

There is a tournament in a school for the students. Makoto's students decided to win and make Makoto's teaching more respected. They stand out, of course, but the city is attacked.
Makoto & Co save the day, then we learn that the capital of Limia is attacked too. The goddess summon Makoto to help, but he refuses. He eventually accepts to help Limia.
Makoto uses a power ranger costume to hide himself while doing so. And he will officially meet Hibiki just after.

I really hope they don't use the same models from the anime for them. Sincerely, I thought those designs were really weak and generic. And one of the medusas actually has importance later. She's strong as hell and has to reflect that.

There's something that the manga should have mentioned, but didn't. Mio here tells Hibiki that if the war gets so big that it would affect Kuzunoha, she wouldn't need to move a finger, as he alone was more than enough to solve the problem, she just needed to stay by his side. That's when Hibiki says that Mio is talking as if Kuzunoha alone could solve the entire war all by himself and get curious about him.

A little slow really, half of the chapter could be cut as this party doesn't really contribute much aside from making Hibiki's party curious about Kuzunoha.

Well, the thing is that in order to become humanized, they need to have enough power to actually be on par with him. As a reminder that his current retinue consists of a primordial dragon, Shelob, and an elder lich. Note that the elder lich had to be inflated with Makoto's on power to be even considered for a 3:7 contract, otherwise he would have been just sucked in.
