Nah. Read most of the spoilers and now I'm interested in the details of that mentioned development, namely:
The person he kills, the reason for it and MC's reasoning behind finally changing the way he does.

Can somebody please give a short summary of those upcoming events in a well warning giving spoiler tag. I hate to wait another 4 months until enough chapters have been uploaded to reach that point. And as this comment section is already riddled with those spoilers...😁

his biggest reason for continuing killing is his hate for hyumans and the goddess, and he doesn't know he had developed this hate.

@el_ilm: I don't know. That's why I asked for the spoilers. ^^ But asking for the chapter in the LN in which that goes down is also a good idea. So either spoiler or chapter number or best both.

Chapter 59 of the WN is the start of the incident, next chapter continues it. Quick Summary.
One of the adventurers you see in this chapter end up getting Little Tomoe and one of Azora's Residents killed. He ends up accidentally reading her mind, finding how racist she is. And ends up killing her. As time goes on, many characters start realizing how light he treats life. Mio in particular is probably one of the sharpest when it comes to noticing what kind of guy he is.

Heavy spoiler for later events:
At one point, he starts seeing alternate timelines. One in which he effectively microwaves a few people, Including the Hero Hibiki. Another where he basically glassed an entire country, and one more where Tomoe and Mio end up dead and he sides with the demons to take out the goddess.

He ends up so broken, when he's attacked by three assassins, he tears a hole in the chest of one, snaps one more's neck, then smashes in the head of the last, and all he thinks about is how nice it was they didn't scream.
And when a friend of the assassins wanted to kill him, but he wanted to try and not kill. He decides the next best thing was to trap said friend in an illusion where their teammates kept ending up killed until they decided not to fight him anymore. Effectively mind breaking them. And he's like, "hey, still alive!"

A lot of people ended up harping on Tomoe for hiding things from him, but the biggest reason she hid this stuff was to prevent negative influences on him. And the coming incident was a perfect example of what she was afraid of.

the prostitute adventurer and her two buddies are sent to asora as guests in makota's side village where he gives random adventurers items from asora. They are still racist against demi-humans and decide to steal what they can from an unguarded dwarf workshop, among those items are makoto's used up ring's, and make an escape. Several guards confront them, one is a orc that was supposed to be watching them, another is a male arachnid dude(forgot their name), and the last is the little tomoe clone; while making their escape the prostitute tosses makoto's ring at them while escaping and it explodes from all the unstable energy built up inside it ( 1 used up ring from makoto is basically a nuke if it explodes). The explosion kills mini tomoe, the highland orc, two of the adventurers, and gravely injures the arachnid dude while the prostitute adventurer escapes the an opened mist gate that leads back to tsige. Once makoto makes it on the scene and learns what happens he follows her thru the mist gate and stabs her to death

dude, you talk about makotos "messed-upness" as if it was caused by things he has been through, I kinda got a different impression though, I thought that it was heavily implied that he was messed up from the beginning, that he sees no value in life aside from the lives of the people close to him, if its enemies or his own life, he just dosnt care all that much(I think someone mentioned it in the labyrinth arc, I if I remember correctly it was aznoval) did you read reigokai translationed version? I alaways worry that translator are trying to adapt things and end up changing the subtext of a story, I remember "talking" with some dude that read the japanese version and the impression I got from him about makoto was pretty different from the impression I got from reading the translated version...

0/10 chapter. Absolute horseshit relationship those 3 have with each other. It's so badly written that it made me want to drop the manga. This is exactly why you never start readying anything that's tagged as shounen and romance. Every. Single. One. will have the same stupid fucking tropes, and will annoy the shit out of you while reading it. Like imagine if they removed romance COMPLETELY from this manga. It would be SO much better, without all this unnecessary middle school "oh I like you do you like me"? "You were gonna fuck some other girl?!" and of course, the close to rape scene.

It's pointed out that if he stayed in Japan, he would have never have ended up as he did now. Coming to that world kinda just fucked him up a bit. Dealing with the goddess and hyumans.
He's a growing boy and all the experiences he's gone through are shaping him.
Right now he's still immature. He rejected Tomoe and Mio not just because they feel like family, but because he clearly wasn't ready for that kind of relationship. Naturally he doesn't fully realize this, but it's obvious when you realize how things ended up with his kouhai and senpai back on earth.

Past arc or how to call it is pretty boring since MC is such pushover. Feels like he is not even MC since he just pushed around by all side characters (so the whole plot feels like drag).

@bk3k i've read up until the last 10 or so chapter but then i quit because he was to much of a pussy when he bent over for the people who tried to kill him.
as far as i remember he never gets out of his beta ways, he has tons of women just throwing themselves at him yet he never touches them.

@bobios2 and @Trov: I also thank you. Its just as m4ng4 said. I needed that.

About MC being a pussy and mentally messed up: Up till now he looked pretty normal. Maybe a bit too easy going. How old is he again? If he is a teenage boy and doesn't have any fucking experience and doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of girls, he needs in order to survive (doesn't want to mess things up), I can kinda understand why he instead thought about getting laid by a professional for a moment. He thought about a strategy to doge that bullet. Afterwards he would have gained some confidence and aloha! But instead they caught him, confronted him, put him under quite some pressure and he freaked out. I can see that happen.
Now...about that mental thing...Maybe the translator messed that up, but I just don't get those vibes. And from what I read in those spoilers him being normal or going psycho is still possible. It depends:
Either that bitch knew the ring could blow up, was happy that she got away, blamed the demihumans and she would have gotten away (MC can't just accuse her of killing people in wonderland, can he?) and do something like that again or ...
... she is selfish and a racist and everything, but she didn't want things to escalate that far.
MC will read her mind, so he will know the truth and it's either partial justifiable or just blind rage. If she is happy about how things turned out, then him killing her might ... well stabbing her to death... is still... no matter what...I've got to read it myself, I guess. I step down from this point.
Well I guess those are my thoughts about this...I don't want to blame him this early.
