At this point, the story is pretty nonsensical and clearly setting the stage for further exploration of the BDSM lifestyle, where consent will likely remain a grey area. I also think there may be some old-fashioned NTR elements introduced at some point. Io is clearly being set up as a sub with limited willpower. These are just my thoughts, of course.

Well as fucked up as it sounds, she is an extreme masochist. her body reactions to certain stimuli don’t match with her true feelings. It may not be something she can control completely which is messed up and sad
