That's just the thing though. It may not look like it, but this manga is more maturely written than the genre's average and I don't think that's appreciated enough.

I've been thinking the same thing as I've binged this. Pretty much every time a drama bomb is about to go off, they actually manage to defuse it by talking things through like adults and clearing up misunderstandings. There's more emotional maturity in here than a lot of other works and this is the infamous bratty shortstack manga.
