I woke up early (6am CST) and Mori Calliope is fully fluent in both English and Japanese. American English accent so that's probably her first language. She switches between them smoothly mid sentence and it's pretty astonishing. It'll be fun to see her collab with the JP group. Going back to sleep.

edit: Can't tell if she's tired or if her Japanese isn't as good as I thought. Maybe I'm too tired. Someone else tell me. Seems better than Coco's when she first started.

The bird seems to have learned either German or Japanese first because she's got an accent in English. Debut streams are always kinda meh because it's so rehearsed. Talking points and the like. Need to see them in the chaos of a gaming collab to see their true colors.

The Tentacle Girl also seems to have learned English as a second or third language. She can speak Japanese fine, but she can't read Kanji. So maybe Korean first, English second, and Japanese third?

She's way more relaxed than the other two so far. She's a great artist. Her design is from the dude who did Kino's Journey. Looks like she'll probably do some gacha whale streams since she mentions that "rate/pick up is a lie!" She wants to do a TRPG stream, which seems like a novel idea.

Her tentacles wiggle when she moves.

Shark is next.

I've watched the first two so far. This is how I'd rate them in terms of family-friendliness (0 being not family-friendly at all, 10 being very family-friendly).

I hope she becomes more accustomed to this whole streaming thing. She alluded to this herself, but it was pretty clear that she was trying to keep a 'cutesy' voice throughout the stream.

Also holy fuck this girl's transition sequence is so fucking loud, and she used it pretty often. RIP headphone users.

I'll probably watch Chicken-chan's Fall Guys stream, at least part of it. As a Fall Guys master myself, I like seeing others fail at enjoy it.

Overall I'm impressed so far. I'm sure these two will maintain sizeable fanbases and all that stuff.

@bigtiddyoneesan I wonder if the cutesy voice thing is supposed to be part of her character? Like she's supposed to be an aspiring vtuber idol, but she's also the grim reapers apprentice. So maybe her character is supposed to fake the cutesy accent and lose it when she gets upset rather than it being a real life thing? I wonder if they used her debut stream as a sort of guinea pig for the rest. She seemed to have the most polish in hers, but she also had the most technical difficulties.

Also, I didn't watch the entire stream, but it seems the tentacle girl is at least a 7 on the family friendly scale. I don't think I heard any swears.

Yeah, that very well could be the case. On the other hand, her repeated gripes about keeping up the persona did sound pretty natural to me. Either way, I guess it's part of her charm. Time for me to watch Tentacle-chan now.
