The rest of the series is fantastic. It's kind of like GiTS, but replace the dommy mommy with an autistic security robot.

Reading in another language is a long struggle with only dictionaries as allies until no Shakespeare line can disturb you. And well, it's easier to lose your sanity this way, Cthulhu approves.

I read Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi years ago when I was a kid.
One of the first books to actually make me emotional.

I was on a Pynchon bent for a while but had to take a break. Been going through William Faulkner book-by-book now -- almost finished Absalom, Absalom after having read The Sound and the Fury and As I Lay Dying. All books are beautiful in their own rights; I don't know what I'd recommend for a "first text" of his.

Ok I thought about it and it's grave posting cuz necroposting is supposed to revive the person you reply to. But this time it's impossible.

Also I really enjoyed Pynchon's Mason & Dixon so... It couldn't be helped.
