So it doesnt reattaches a lost limb, it makes your whole body go back to when your limb was there (and theres an extra arm laying somewhere...). Its a magic/special ability so w/e. If you need another example of such power theres Inoue from Bleach.

As for everyone keeps saying about he can basically be immortal. The fact is no! He has explained it back at chapter one. He can restore the appearance but that's it. The aging still doesn't change. He can still grow old and die of old age even if he has the appearance of a 16 years old boy.
