Lol okay dude, there are dialog lines in this chapter that have different meanings than the first translation group. They're rushing it and they're making solid mistakes that change things. "She couldn't... until things were ready" vs "I wouldn't let her do it until I was ready" changes the tone pretty hard, first one sounds like she had to wait until she fell in love but it's actually that he was making her wait this whole time. You don't get that out of the mess that's the earlier translation.

Think you need to reread it because this one does not say "I wouldn't let her do it until I was ready" There's nothing in either that implies he was making her wait. He says he made the competition with Kou because he knew he could become a vampire straight away if she were to suck his blood, which she has so far refused to do. Both translations say she wouldn't on page 10.

Edit: Actually this is kind of funny because you said the other one was rushed because of this big difference but it seems like this version has been edited since you read it to change that line.

You guys gotta chill. A guy just didn't want to wait a week for Tonikaku to discuss a chapter with his sitemates, so he translated it. It's been done almost every chapter prior, too, just in text format, and he simply did the extra step of typesetting it.
