Badass Mom, suddenly got reminded of the mother from Erased. Also, harem plan is a no-go? I actually want a proper harem end damnit!!

if i was MC and get that kind of treatment i would either annoy the hell out of those kids or also ignore them like always until they tire themself. but, it was because being a sheltered kid, i never consider them as significant ones and see classmates as passing people. though, there is eventually some approached me and we became truly friends. if those friends also treat me like that maybe i would also take some heavy hit. (sorry for my weird english)

That one Maron Maron story had an interesting solution to the "ignored by everyone" treatment.

@SmartBirb Honestly, I can see Rei approving mother/son incest if only because it increases the chances the decendants would be able to see her.

His reason is weak. Why didn't he try again at new school, why his mother didn't encourage him to try again. Surely she didn't want him to be alone all his school years, that sucks. I'd understand if he was harrassed for longer time, or at the new school too, and another, but it just happened once, he transferred and a loner was born. That's not exactly how it works, it seems more like a joke to me than a real reason.

Jokes a side that was really a weak reason and he knows who the culprit too.
I bet she was some influential person daughter.

I was expecting more brutal betrayal after reading all those edgy isekai lol
What are the chances author gonna make a twist that the twintail was in guilt all this time?

It's true that his trauma seems a bit excessive for just one day of being ignored, but I can see where he comes from.

As he says, it's not the bullying itself. He knows why, when and how it happened. If the mother talked to the school (and she's a very proactive and insightful mother), it would be easy to unmask the whole charade. But it wouldn't change the thing that shocked him: they weren't just classmates, they were his good friends, and yet they did it. To make matters worse, the day before they had praised him for standing up to Arisu.

Even if the bullying had stopped the following day, it would have never been the same. Even without changing schools, he'd probably have become the loner he is now.

If you have no expectation, then your expectations won't be betrayed. The protag learns of new things quickly. His mom most probably didn't say anything because she knew what the societal hierarchy is actually like.
Expectation ruins things, you need to consider every possibility.

LOL wtf is going on? It looks like she couldn’t let the Harem win after all and instead Confess to the MC instead!

The mom looks badass, how was she reduced that? I’m confused af tho...

Man the reason did seem weak. This feels more like a CN now and I hate it.

C’mon now, would this hierarchy sh*t still work in modern day public school?
The mother clearly lost her job and forced to become a writer due to that “City influence” due to that girl.. How the hell did she threaten all those parents, school boards, city hall to make it difficult for him for such a small reason? That only happens in Chinese novels!

What are your guys thoughts about this?

Tp be fair, i actually found it better than i expected, I mean, I was expected to have a weak reason consider the time, but while the reason is a little weak, the way MC handled it and MC mother deal with it is good enough for me, and MC didn't go full emo or edgelord either, he is more like a heavy introvert who don't like interaction. I mean, i have similar feeling with @Misticsan , it is a little excessive, but i can see where he come from. And for a child to go through that is harder, but the author done it nicely since he doesn't overblown the effect of it on MC like other manga

Just because the plan failed doesn't mean its the end of it.
It is just like you wanted to buy something, and once you get the the shop, it is no longer there, but once you're home, someone suddenly give it to you.
I mean, it's still quite early to say anything, the story still moving, it is not end. Also being truly loved is what everyone wants, and ofc processing such trauma as a child could only be bad for future, our protagonist here is still considered lucky that his mother supports him, chances that she might also experienced it during childhood.

Just remember, what has we experienced is what makes the current us.
Also, while loving harem, I might not mind OTP for this one.

From where i see it, it would be some where from Harem plan to Reiji happiness plan, and yeah, it quite early to say anything about that
