From an American historical perspective, they'd be emboldened to subjugation, alright! LMFAO

What do you think happened after ~200 years of conflict? The Natives kowtowed to the settlers and were designated to their own reservations. It clearly ended the conflict, not just the way the Natives wanted it.

Damn, I did not expect that ending at all... Einar gave his life to protect the rest of the village. Senseless killing isn't worth staying in Vinland. It wasn't great either that Einar personified their village by naming it after Arnheid. I wonder where the story will go from here. Will they be able to leave together safely or will something else happen to re-escalate the situation? I'm scared for Thorfinn and his family.

Some people really are unaware of the current events in the world. The majority want peace in Ukraine, Middle East, Asia and Africa yet it's not happening.

Conflict is a necessity towards peace. Just ask the Palestinians who are constantly being invaded without constraint by an encroaching ideology funded by a world power or even the revolutionaries throughout history who fought for their lives to improve their people's conditions.

MLK said it best, "Riot is the voice of the unheard"

JFK's quote is cool too: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable"

His indecision on the crossbow shot this chapter could of been the differnce beween 1 life vs 2
It's so poignant that in this entire manga about the actions that we take towards a common goal it is the undeniable good guy that gets saddle with the responsibility of every other shitty persons actions by some readers.

Couldn't end any other way, either you break the wheel rumbling style or you keep enduring it, running away will only get you so far...

Violent revolutions almost always ends up with yet another autocratic government take power.

Bad take. Thorfinn’s indecisiveness has blown up in his face repeatedly, it’s at odds with how Yukimura has been trying to portray him since his enslavement: docile but wisened. He’s coming across as incompetent and a weak leader. Thorfinn sticking to his beliefs, fine, that can work… but it makes no sense why the others would continue to go along with his planning when it’s been a struggle the entire time they’ve been in Vinland. Doubly so if you have any idea how Nords actually operated, more specifically how often they changed “leaders” because of situations just like this.
Yukimura himself has NEVER fully supported Thorfinn's views. Yes he's portrayed him as being wiser than before, but never as a 'flawless leader'. Thorkell himself pointed out Thorfinn's naivete at the end of the Baltic War arc. This entire arc has been a critique of Thorfinn's views.
So please, I beg you, learn to have some sort of reading comprehension.
