It’s obvious where this is going. Raoul is not your typical ideal of a “hero” but he’s the right kind of hero this rotten world the gods created needs. Raoul clearly wants to establish a new world that’s why he’s keen on helping the demon bitch Theodora become queen and anyone he deems “good” in his eyes with a pure heart that won’t screw up the new world he’s trying to create because when it’s all said and done I don’t think Raoul plans to stick around once he’s done.
Raoul is going to use Victoria for something and since it’s been established since the start of this story that Victoria had a weird obsession with the dude even when she was extremely evil, that obsession likely turned into love. All the Goddess of Love did was amplify her desires that were already there to begin with. If Victoria relapses again it’ll be no issue sending her to Hell.
Regardless Victoria is broken or “reformed” depending how you want to look at this but even a broken tool has uses. She’s not a threat and will most likely do what Raoul asks of her without question and if she somehow relapses it’s straight to Hell with her. She is a shell of her evil self or maybe this who Victoria was before she became corrupted, but Raoul is using her for something. No way he’s letting her off the hook THAT easily for all the damage she’s caused. A lot of people are going to want her dead for all the atrocities she’s caused. Maybe he plans to let her live but let her live with the shame and since people will easily recognize her she will need that constant protection. I don’t think people realize how much of a walking target she is. A proper backstory would be nice otherwise Victoria’s incoming “redemption arc” won’t make much sense because if that’s the route we’re going with what makes Victoria special out of all the people Raoul took revenge on especially since she’s arguably the entire reason all of this started to begin with, but maybe the gods have something more to do with it that hasn’t been explained yet who knows.
You can say the Goddess of Love is the reason why because once again she did amplify Victoria’s desires which lead her to killing Raoul’s sister and everyone associated with him so she could have him to herself but again some things are confusing right now but the author has been cooking since the beginning of this story now that everything is starting to come together.
