MangaDex implemented comments on site.. Problem is, that for now, those comments require you to have premium account, so basically you have to pay to be able to comment stuff. Your chapter was last one, that you could enter comments on forum. At least in easy way, apparently there is still some kind of method, but practically it's a disabled option from now on.

This part is my speculation - they say, that "it is in alpha and temporary", but they said the same shit with ads, that those will be temporary and now are part of the website and if you wanna get rid of them, you have to pay subscription. So they same thing will prolly happen with comments. Greedy corporation taking over fan-based project. Sad times.

I have no issues doing that at all. NOW... You might be trying to comment using the inline comments which are still beta testing. You have to click or tap the 3 dots and choose "Read the X# older comments" The inlime comments are limited RIGHT NOW to Contributors and Supporters, but you can definitely comment.

Reading the above comment, it seems I was correct. You guys haven't been locked out of commenting, there's just an extra step to get to the comment forums (by clicking/tapping the 3 dots).

yeah i think the new feature is specifically the in-chapter comment window, the forum method of commenting isn't being deleted

There has been some time that has passed, but I think the bigger change is the art style has evolved over the last 14+ years.

One thing that really amazed me of this series is just if we take a look from how it started how kind of simple it was in quality, but a series that now has lots of popularity and going by a bimonthly release we can even see from grander slides just how much is in each panel. Really pleased with how it is going aswell as we always get progress and stuff from previous chapters coming back, like it definitely feels it is going forward.

No. Look at the chapters of Manga uploaded after this one, there is no "View older comments" button, there are no forum posts for those chapters. None of them have comments. You can still access the forum posts for chapters of manga prior to this one, which is probably what youre looking at

The problem is that, out of context, it seemed like you couldn't comment anymore, only read a certain number of comments. So, I was genuinely surprised and relieved that I was able to access the forum as usual.

No. Look at the chapters of Manga uploaded after this one, there is no "View older comments" button, there are no forum posts for those chapters. None of them have comments. You can still access the forum posts for chapters of manga prior to this one, which is probably what youre looking at

On the chapters after this one, most of them don't have any comments, therefore you get this

you have to click the three dots and then you'll get the option to "Create Forum Thread", which basically means that you're the first person to comment. You actually have to click or tap that "Create Forum Thread" and it will then take you to the forum where things will look familiar to you.
