I know the author, decided to give him (again!) another chance, read 19 chapters. So far, so good. But dropping this now - knowing the author, I know how this is going to end up and I don't want to deal with it. Series is fine, but dropping this purely due to the author. I might eventually come...

@Orriee: "five-year survival rate", used in chap1, means the chance of being alive 5 years after the surgery. It doesn't mean the surgery is only going to extend his life by 5 years and then boom. If he takes the surgery, MC has 30% chance of being alive in 5 years (he can die before, after 1 or...

@ Saya_ : thank you so much for the picking it up, even if only for one chapter! Amazing chapter, I'm really liking these female lead who, for once, is clearly communicating. The plot isn't based around miscommunication (or at least not for long) or wrong, cliche assumption but just people...

@honeylemonmilktea : I fail to see how she's becoming a true villainess... As in very many manga she aspires to but acts as a parangon of virtues. Caring for commoners, promoting meritocracy, being willing to forgo her advantages, ... That's not what a villainess would do. Manga is interesting...

She got that "blessed" constitution because she wanted to be liked by her foster family, isn't it...?
