He was kidnapped and forced to be the hero by the church. He isn't brainwashed as you can see before they left for this death trap, he felt sorry for the Saintess. He's not strongest enough yet to go against them and from their actions you can bet he was either scared into or beating into submitting to them.

it is but they get away with it because they don't do that here. There is other places they upload hoping the aggregators grab the tl from those sites so they get traffic back to theirs.

I figure they just can't be arsed to make a new cover page for only MD.
