From your earlier replies it seem like you guys were already set with your own team and whatnot. OP is just a 1man team that does Spanish>English translation, and you even say it's not a proper translation so idk what your whole point is if it isn't to complain about getting sniped.
My point is, that there was always way to contact us. And either ask about the status of the project or potentially join us and contribute in way that maintain the quality of existing scanlation. It's not like our group ever went completely silent and stopped communicating. So there was not really need for such move.
In the end, people that value quality will still read your version if it's really superior, no matter how long it takes.
Well, if our previous project has shown anything, it's that the sad truth is that people who care about quality are rather in minority.
If your team is that fragile and crumbles with only 1 snipe, might as well quit this hobby lol.
I didn't say that we already going to give up. But sniping like this always don't serve well for work ethic on a project where enthusiasm is the only motivator for everyone involved. So I really can't garante, what's going to happen, if this sniping gonna continue. I only know, that it would be really shame, if we ended with mere spanish re-translations, when better options are in play.
