Part of me wonders if there's scientific development in that area. Some kind of special enzyme? I doubt there's anything that can break down cloth that quickly without causing irritation to the skin. Maybe you'd need to be wearing something specially made?

@DreamCarver It'd pretty much have to be really specialized one way or the other, like a substance that only melts things commonly used to make clothes (probably no good since the wider you make the range to accommodate different fabric materials, the more likely it would be to cause damage to other stuff like skin) or clothes made of material that would melt in contact with an otherwise harmless substance (not sure what purpose this could really serve other than fulfilling the melted clothes fantasy).
I could see an argument for military/police usage in a substance that targets only the materials used in weapons and body armor type stuff to make capture of a target easier, but it'd be in that first category where I'm not really sure how they'd manage to pull it off without damaging the person at the present.

her only goal so far is to get someone to join the science club, but to do so she'll need more at least three more people and an advisor, which is not only almost impossible, but she also keeps trying to get the person who DOESN'T want to join her club to join her club. Her problems could be solved with her just joining the MRC. so why don't she do that? because "SHe'S sTTuBorn." what kind of one demential garbage character writing is this? it also doesn't help when you have clowns in the comments justifying everything that she does (you probably know who im talking about)
