Damn....seems like I have to correct myself again.
I commented on another manga from author that the story was flat compared to this, but DAMN....I got slapped by reality real fast. This is also starting to suffer stagnation. Like others said, after the Hell god, this chapters just scream of filler...like, c'mon! There are bigger targets out there than the plebs.
so i know there was 0 chance of this but like what was raouls plan if someone had just been like "cool. I am just gonna live a chill life in paradise" and didn't devolve into a sin filled glutton of madness and just remained chill? Would he have let them get killed by the others? That person didn't sin and by his own rules wasn't worthy of being killed for revenge.
There's 0 chance as you said. The reason I state this is because those who survived the first round...or screening...where divided in 2 groups. This one I think it was the sus group: Raoul knew they were no good, he just needed bigger proof.
The second group, differently from this one, could be formed by people who are actual victims....we'll see
I get letting the people's temptations turn them insane with greed and then "judging" them once it is revealed that inside they were actually awful but hadn't been able to unleash it yet, but really? Children too?
Yeah the sacrifices are insane on the other side, but is Raoul going to have his servants slaughter seven or eight year old kids just because they didn't want to share their toys? Instead of teaching them its wrong while they are young, just go ahead and have the hell's servants torture them I guess.
The thing is that, in the illusion, there was more than enough to share and still satisfy every single children. Yet, even them succumbed to the "I want it all (even if it too much for just me)". Besides, in the early chapters, there were children who laughed and threw stones at Raoul during his execution iirc, to show that the whole world is sick/corrupted/evil and not even children are exempt.
It's understandable that seeing children becoming "puddles of "components"" isn't everyone cup of tea and it's normal, but in this story, children are not the usual pure and good being and thus they are subjected to the almighty rule of the "fuck around, find out"
