Regarding the last page, while I certainly can't speak for everyone on this, I actually do read the credits for each chapter. People work hard on this, and it's just polite to notice their efforts. At least, this is true when the credits page (or other insert at the beginning or end) is the same size or smaller than the actual manga's pages. With scanlation groups that have giant end caps much bigger than the actual pages, I shrink those images down and deliberately avoid reading any of the credits. For those who do make those giant pages, your mom's a ho.
