In quite a few games torches burn eternally. Maybe that's even the norm. In survival games, though, that's not necessarily the case. You might need to keep adding some resource to keep them burning. That being said, he's certainly coming from a very simple game, looking at that how that torch is standing on its own like that. I wonder if he could make torches of different colours by adding an extra ingredient.

You can pick them up again. I think their lifespan was frozen but not reset. But not sure, torches were cheap so I didn't bother testing that.

I only just realized after seeing the untoppable torch, but are all his blocks quite literally indestructible?
If it's following Minecraft's logic, and everyone but him is an NPC/mob, it would make sense.

It's already creating infinite energy from the light. You'd just need to figure out how to harvest it. Plants would work without solar panels

Why not make Aira a mage here? From what I read she's somewhat of an alchemist. Since kousuke can do that, isn't that gonna diminished her role as an alchemist?
