The whole previous chapter they dropped every hint possible: The first line already says that's the site they'd use for the Main Base. They also found the underground ruins from the former Omit Kingdom that was bombed out of existence in the conflict with the elves from the black forest centuries prior nearby. It's the crossing of Earth Lines and a "infinite" fountain of mana. It has some magic barrier that keeps Gizma and other monsters away and it is halfway between the occupied Melinard kingdom and black forest. That main staging/support base would develop into a full blown city there.

Having read the light novels, without going into specifics, yes this does become a harem series

Firstly, he needs to MAKE A TRAIN. Put down the tracks. Make the engine. Make the carriages.
Making weapons? Somewhat optional. Making countless forts and castle towns? Somewhat necessary.
Making reliable high-speed transportation: GAMECHANGING.

Secondly... someone please cut off that wooly blob on top of Melty's chest. I get she is supposed to be some sort of sheep girl, but shouldn't the wool be on her back rather than sprouting out of her cleavage like a cauliflower?
