I'll Rate Any Song: Part II

If you were trying to actually put that top volume it's quite the wrong call... starting with the quality of the recording. If I had a better one then yes, but when you raise the volume of the speakers unregarding the file you'll get a distorted sound. And no, it's not a military march, and the percussion simply accompanies it. There are more songs played with that instrument that you would prefer for different reasons, but I didn't want to pass one with background noise. If it's your first time listening to this, then it's only natural finding it unsettling.
Edit: actually, part of the reason the first song I sent you didn't sound clean is for the same reason, an mp3 portable recording from sixteen years ago or more sounds terribly played aloud, even if the original song is good. It's like trying to use an old console on a 44' 4K TV.
Its ok,

The part about the speakers and ears was just a joke. 😅

I search of something you won't like, i summon this :

score: 6- (It's Not Very Good)

Well if you're trying to find something I dislike, then thats a different issue from the score.

I dislike Scream-O Metal as a generality. And I also dislike the grunts and low end groaning vocals that sound like a case of severe Demonic Constipation.

But like the previous hard-core metal song you linked, the guitars and drums are still pretty good. And the arrangement itself isn't bad. So it's not terrible overall. I don't want to low ball it just because I like dislike the 'Scream Metal' genre. I give it a 6 like the last one.

I do like some bands that both scream and sing though. Good examples of this are Nightwish, System of a Down and Disturbed, as well as lots of others. (Nightwish has the female singer and male guitarists who scream, which is very well done.)

So I like metal, just not Scream-O Metal.

How about these folks I got to know in the past (more than seven years ago)?

score: 8.5- (It's very good)

These people are really quite talented! She can both sing and solo on the trumpet. I think the Bari sax was very good, though could have been better. It's not 'Leo P' but then nothing (and nobody) is. (Leo Pellegrino the Bari sax legend).

Good Jazz Lounge music. The arrangement is well done. I would definitely add this to a playlist.

So, you can't actually embed from ReverbNation, but here's one of mine from many years ago.
Its pretty good for an ameteur! I actually liked it enough to listen all the way through. You can sing way better than me for sure. Guitar was pretty good too.

I'd have given it a 7 if you asked for a score. Could use some extra instrumentals and more range and variety in the vocals.

Also. If you do a hard core version, add some cool panda or bear roars and growls in there for FX. 😎

Also: Whoa! Angry Panda can do music! 😄😃🤘🤘🤘

score: 7.5- (It's above average)

The singer has a cute helium voice. I love energetic uptempo songs with happy vocals. It really just radiates positive energy which I'm big on.

The rest of the arrangement is pretty good. Still, it doesn't really stand out in any particular way. I'd say it sounds good but doesn't leave a lasting impression. Great for Playlists though. 😊

GT4 was really good! Surprised to hear this again now that I'm busy playing GT7. I wonder how many more installments we'll have Kazunori Yamauchi for? He's 56 now. Hopefully he can at least stick around and give us a GT8 right? 🙂

Daiki Kasho is the mind behind the music here. He's really good at what he does, since even the casual songs are well put together. Daiki Kasho is also famous for doing the music for the original 16 bit F-Zero.

This is a wonderfully mellow background track. It's not really repetitive and the riffs are all quite good. The flute solo is really great too. Would go well on my sleep or relaxation Playlist/s tbh. 😌

Scratches that itch and I almost never listen to this genre.

score: 7.5- (It's above average)

It has a cool sound and vibe to it, but it's really quite repetitive, or at least it seems that way to me.

The off-key counter melody adds depth to what would have otherwise been a boring song.

I think this could have been really really good. Like "Change (In the House of Flies)" by Deftones good, if they had polished it a bit more and added a bit more variety to the vocals. Instead this is more of a one trick pony.

Its not bad tho. It's pretty darn good. It could have been even better if had some stand-out solos or something to make it less monotonous. This is a situation where a little screaming might have been a good thing at the right moments.

anything this person puts out is always a gem, and this is a remaster
score: 8- (It's good)

Very unique with great lyrics, and a monotone voice nailing the intonation from beginning to end is like 'The Spoken Word' and kind of cool, while the rest is nice but not all that impressive; certainly not as much as it could have been perhaps. Still the fx and sound effects are nice. Visuals too.

The chimes were a great choice as an instrument. It really adds just the right sound to this arrangement.

Definitely a nice piece for the right Playlist or the occasional listen. It's quite relaxing after all.

score: 8.5- (It's good!)

This is a song with cute helium vocals and plenty of energetic instrumentals (synthetic certainly). Its very uplifting with a positive feel to it. I love music that makes me feel happy, and this definitely achieved that.

However, songs like this usually fail to stand out from the others in the same genre/category, and this song falls victim to that too. It doesn't stand out in a crowd of similar songs and would blend right in with the rest of the Playlist in that sense.

Its not a stand out title but it does everything else well. Half-way to being a 9, I give it an 8.5.

Very pleasant to listen to. 😊

Remember when Japan animated the best Scooby Doo thing ever, Zombie Island. And, then the Witch's Ghost which was ok, I guess. That was neat. Anyway, here's my entry.

score: 7- (It's average)

I mean it was pretty good!

It does the rock theme well and the lyrics and vocals were actually pretty good considering it was done for a cartoon.

But the Sanderson sisters still did it better:

Speaking of Scooby Doo, how about this banger of an OP?
