i dont know if it rly went into his backstory all that much versus 'vaguely bullied by classmates, took kendo but that somehow made it worse', but other than living off cup ramen if his parents weren't around either he prolly had to cook for himself as well. tho i'm sure knowing some 'modern' cooking stuff helps a little, but at least he already has most things versus trying to re-grow rice/going off on a side quest to find rice crops and such lol (altho i don't think grilling fish and sauces are exclusive to japan, with 'sashimi' unless it's done in a super specific way just sounds like raw sliced fish to me)

i mean, mc simply bought her b/c she's the 'cutest' that was there, her being able to fight and him changing her class w/o the use of the temple is just a bonus, given that this is a harem/wish fulfillment world, i wouldn't have expected the author to have him take in some super weak person that'd take forever to level up (tho idk if his exp boost applies to them too) versus the other girls suddenly being selfish and like "i don't like her, let's pick someone else , go to another shop"

tho even with the dungeon diving he's prolly living a pretty cushy life compared to the other explorers with 1-2 party members, even if that Elf duke drags him into more things i doubt it's gonna be anything more huge like 'saving the world' type stuff

It may be one of those differences in definitons. As far as I'm aware, a sniper is one who very especifically targets series in good health (i.e. receive frequent updates), releasing before the next chapter is scheduled to come out (e.g. if a series up to date gets usually released three days after the raws coming up, releasing a usually LQ version within the first 48 hours). Someone targeting a series with an agonizing translation is not a sniper, but it's close. Someone targeting a dead series is not even close to a sniper.

Whoever this guy is, he should have restricted himself to highly-anticipated series no one has worked on in over half a year for reasons other than a lack of raws. Sniping, as per the former definition, is almost always bad.

why'd onee-chan change to big sister? also, I've thought this before but wasn't MC suicidal and escaping reality through gaming. Why is he so good at cooking. like his knowledge of dishes and how to put things together seems at odds with his character intro. Obv he could very well have fallen into depression, chemical imbalance and all, but then what caused it. I've just been wondering, but maybe that's just me.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised of Miria doesn't know what sex is because it doesn't involve fish.

tbf adding salt and lemon to fish isn't really that high a bar for cooking, lol. Pretty sure that's common knowledge?

Yeah... that's one major problem with the WN and LN: the further you get, the least developed the girls.
The LN does a little better than the WN, but it's still pretty bad.

I think that's why the manga went really slow at the start; the story is peak at Roxanne & Sherry.

What I also dislike, and I hope the manga changes is how annoying both the Michio and Roxanne also get. Roxanne for pushing them ahead when Michio doesn't want to and Michio for being a pussy regarding just about anything I know the writer has to stretch things out but it just gets on my nerves and kinda just starts around LN 10.

What do you expect from an author that never writes about his characters feelings? Their personalities are paper thin. There is simply nothing there to react to the things around them. I honestly think the author does not have the standard empathetic reactions to others, or the curiosity about other peoples feelings.

So she wasn't bratty in the LN? how was she then? i honestly wouldn't mind if a girl was bratty first but over time became more open, i just felt sad that the MC did nothing when they mentally broke her, i mean, the MC should have a little more weight in things, right?
