I've raised various cats throughout the years, some cat trivia.

When a cat curls their tail around you, either your arm or leg, it's the equivalent of us humans holding hands.

Cats like routine and order, changes to schedules or unexpected events will stress them out.

Cats are absolutely social animals and can miss a human they're attached to.

I’m going to rant a bit but I’ve had this thought for a quite a while and I want to get it out of my system so please bear with me for a moment.

Michio is one of the few characters that I would say has legitimate deep psychological problems, not just "edginess". I'm not going to claim that he is a great well written character, but he's certainly interesting to me.

I think Michio has a very extreme case of dismissive avoidant attachment or something similar. His paranoia is bottomless, when he's not fantasizing about boobs or trying to figure out how exactly his jobs/skills work, he's constantly panicking at the idea of how people are seeing him and not just strangers, but his slaves too.

The reason why he's buying slaves is that it's literally the only option for him. He NEEDS complete control over someone in order to trust them at all. And even as magic bound slaves he can barely trust them, he still tries to manipulate them in getting their “consent” (even though he technically already has it since they are his fucking sex slaves) because at his core he can't fathom someone being truly interested in him, and he only lets down his defenses and kind of tries and connect with them because they are under a slight obligation to do so. He’s a very broken person, and even with his cheats he remains broken.

Roxanne is literally willing to give her life, but even that is not enough for him, he still refuses to let her and Sherry know almost anything about how his cheats works (and thus maintaining complete control) even though he could do so much better in the dungeon if he trusted them more, especially with Sherry's help. Unlike Roxanne who is kind of an obedient meathead, Sherry is quite perceptive and keeps noticing his cheats, in some case figuring out what they do just by looking at him, but every time she asks him how they work he quickly dismisses her or changes the argument without even coming up with an excuse, leaving her confused and bewildered, wondering how this weird guy can pull off such insane advanced stuff yet lacks basic knowledge everyone in that world knows. If only he at least had the decency to come up with some bullshit excuse if he doesn’t want to reveal that he is from another world.

To add to this because the people he's relying on are "his slaves" it also helps him perform the mental gymnastics to continue to believe he is on his own.

Now I’m not sure how much of this was intentional on the author’s part. Maybe I’m just reading too much in this silly wish fulfillment isekai slop (which I enjoy by the way). Just a thought I wanted to share.

I too wonder just how intentional it is. Given just how flat the other characters are, I don't think any deep thought was given to who Michio is. I could be wrong though. Maybe the author just writes Michio naturally and doesn't have to think about it and they aren't interested in exploring other people or the setting or relationships.

The sex scene are only in the manga (and the anime). If I remeber correctly in the WN and the LN it's fade to black.

I just realized something. The reason why the catgirl in this isn't fully furry is because then the author would have to deal with cat vomit and hairballs.

That's probably the only thing I didn't like about owning a cat. Though chronic vomiting pretty much told you something was wrong. But the hairballs...

I don't know why but this one feels different. Maybe it's because the author points out every three panels that Miria is innocent and doesn't really know about sex. So it feels like a power fantasy fetish being fulfilled. Whereas Roxanne knew the deal and the dwarf was down too, this just feels weird and I don't think I like it. It feels like the author is saying "she can't say no," and rape adjacency is not in my wheelhouse. Can someone tell me if I'm trippin?

I'm sure part of it is very intentional. Given that Michio was looking at committing mutual suicide on the website beforehand. He's meant to be a very broken person who has nothing left in the real world.

I definitely can't say to what degree. Michio does know, iirc, that some of his insecurities are rooted in his many various issues. The few he somewhat acknowledges.

This time he has completely fallen into premeditated coercion and really dngaf what the girl thinks about it. It's actually really gross that he doesn't even have the balls to ask her for it himself either. It's going to probably be played off that she is really horny and into it next chapter though so how creepy he behaved will be swept under the rug for now. Sad because Miria is so great in every way.

On page 6 he says he is pathetic for relying on Roxanne yet again, we can really see his personality here... There is nothing pathetic for needing help with something you have no idea how to do, in this case speak a completely different language.

It's not that he's relying on Roxanne to translate that makes him think he's pathetic, but that he's relying on her to convey his desires, instead of being upfront and honest with Miria; he kept deflecting and pretending not to know .
