I can't get over how much I love this series' artwork. The monsters are goofy yet scary, the character designs are all very sharp, and the fight choreography is easy-to-follow with fantastic impact panels.

There's probably a "real body" somewhere that would die if exposed to light (vuz its a shadow, duh). The one we see standing under the sun is just a red herring.

my good guess is, what we see is his real body. He wouldnt need to try to defend if the attacks can just phase through. we've never seen him jumping and all things he conjure come from earth so I think his weakness will be revealed when he's tossed into the air.
