TBH I don't really have a grasp on Iris.

In manga, she is kinda close her heart and cold towards Alexia. Like she just gave up.

In the anime, she is closeted psycho and still treat Alexia coldly.

I don't know which one i prefer but still nice balance with Alexia.

Iris, hailed as the strongest got whipped by some rando fell into despair even though said dude already creates a crater in the middle of royal capital.

Alexia, aware of her powerlessness and strive to become stronger.
