Thanks for the welcome. After mangarock shut down, it was expected the same would hapen to kissmanga, but after using it all this time out of habit still shocked me at that moment.
Honestly, the only thing I will miss from KM/KA is the comments and conversations, sharing opinions and recomendations, sometimes finding rare insight or thought provoking questions masked in frivolity, like the banana thing just now, and ofcourse trolls and shit post, but those are charming in their own way, like a dumpter on fire in an alley perhaps. And I will definitely not miss being questioned about my humanity
every single time, its confusing after a while.
@bigtiddyoneesan you seem savy about this site, any specific warnings or guidelines you could send my way? after reading "Bochi Teach Me Mangadex" I feel there are things I ignore but should know.
@herooftheplebs Im on the same boat, a seemingly sinking one, pretty sure others are to, after doing something you like for some time eventually we (speaking for my self) seek a sense of comunity with others that share the same interest. In the comments I found that others relate in some way or another to what I just read, even sharing part of their life experiences, that is precious I think. To move on is to regain the sense of wonder to rediscover, its diferent from distachment, since its not the manga but the platform that allowed those connections.
It reminds me of this
“Look at light and admire its beauty. Close your eyes, and then look again: what you saw is no longer there; and what you will see later is not yet”, things are bound to change, most times is out of our hands, but we can choose to percieve it as an oportunity.
