I thought the dragon behind the wizard would be some top tear dragon or demon, but it’s just the guy who keeps getting beat up by everyone. The top wizard also just kanda looks like Fanfare with white hair.

hmm, so that main Wizard spy seems to have know Tezca, and maybe even Lucoa, when they were still gods, so the mystery behind him is growing. As for Kobayashi being OP, setting aside Tohru's mom, Oli, gave Kobayashi a Dragon Orb (pretty sure there can be more then one, so even if Kanna's was destroyed there could be more), remember who is most likely her father/ancestor, King "Obayashi". More importantly, his realization of HOW the gods function based on what entertains them, see the implied death of the original Loki from apathy. This could also explain her absolute lake of faith in gods. Either it was passed down or her very lineage has caused the gods to have no power over her.

I'm with the theory Kobayashi isn't human, a lot of her feats ate considered impossible, on top of that her magic potential was way above a normal mages.

I think it was kinda implied that she was the daughter of the (op) king Obayashi from the other world

I'm pretty sure those mages want empowered dragon orb to bring back Tezca's immortality, because something something being reincarnated like that over and over again is sad and it hurts them or shit like this. Or maybe their lives are somehow connected to Tezca? Since we can see the dark guy with Tezca in the past on page 9. Maybe they wanna break the curse and let her finally live and die in peace? Idk, but seem like Tezca is center point of this mages' plot for me.

Haven't we seen glimpses of Kobayashi's family before, the king would be ancient.

Ancestor makes a bit more sense. The Gyaru character was spotted shortly before she went to the otherworld in the linear timeline, but the humans were pulled from random times by the gods, there was no evidence of it going the other way as all the dragons from that time aged.
