For some reason this filled the void that I always felt with the original work. I think Kobayashi's lack of acknowledgement for Tohru makes it just a little bit difficult to bear. I know Kobayashi may not even be a lesbian but seeing Tohru's dedication and love for Kobayashi going unanswered even with a simple gesture of a headpat or an extended thank you makes me feel bad for Tohru and I question if later on she may leave on her own.

Now, I know that Kobayashi is still getting used to having someone give her attention but realistically it's been a year and progress has been very slow for Kobayashi to properly acknowledge Tohru even if it isn't in a romantic way.

This doujin helps fill that void by reaffirming the bond between Kobayashi and Tohru.
