I actually agree while them getting together would be a Happy ending I don't believe it's an ending that's right for this story. I want to see a bittersweet ending with them moving on as well.
If they do get together I honestly hope it isn't anytime soon as I would rather have a slow burn love story over a sped run one.

i don't think this translator is going to do full chapters, this particular uploader did post some 'extras' in another series by this artist that was basically a bunch of compiled' extras' from the artist's previous stories

Considering how dependent the other girl is i wouldn't be surprised if she acted jealous but not being able to love her back in the same way she wanted (while there are some stories of ppl being 'conveniently bi' or "only X person is an exception!" this is a bit more on the realistic side where a gay person falls for a straight person)
or just somehow have a friendship even if it's a bit more distant since it seems like she could do with being independent

Oh right, the very first chapter does imply that one of them is getting married/going to a church, so there's still some kinda relationship in a flash forward future

I read up to like chapter 9 and their relationship is still really rocky. Fuyuki didn't go see Eri on her birthday and also walked in on Eri and the dude full on making out (I think they also had sex? It's kind of unclear, but Fuyuki left before that.) Fuyuki has also started to subconsciously scratch at her hands to the point of bleeding...
You can read up to chap 10.
Anyway, Fuyuki didn' attend Eri's birthday because that dude asking it lol. And yes, they did have sex. Also Eri just learned the truth from her brother, that Fuyuki did go to their house. I wonder what will happen from now on.
Also, I don't think Eri is really straight. Like, she has had many relationships with guys before, but never truly love them. The same is happening with the current guy now. Well, not like I want her to end up with Fuyuki lol, especially after all the suffers she made Fuyuki went through without even knowing it.
Wow, they actually do it? Well tbh I'm not surprise by that when you read chapter 3 page 20 Eri said that she's going to her senpai (ex-boyfriend now) house means that she already no virgin at that time.
I always thought this before, Eri always the one who got dumped by all of her ex-boyfriends because 2 things, one is that she's not actually in love with them (the guy being called Kyou-chan also) and the other one is whenever they were going date the person she always thought is Fuyuki (when dating Kyou-chan also she is thinking about Fuyuki first than Kyou-chan). She put Fuyuki over her ex-boyfriends and current one. She just said aware of him because he ask. But what if he didn't ask, I'm sure she will not aware it.
Also, can I get the spoiler please? Well I want to know what happen in the latest chapter.

So after reading your comment I'm in the process of reading the author's other work... Just the one with the angel (I'm going to read the rest of the work later)tells me that Fuyuki is going to suffer a lot...

The only other significant thing, it looks like Eri finally figured out she is Fuyuki's first love.
F***, this is one of the reason I hate childhood romance story, when you're in love with your childhood but only one side and your childhood who only think of you as they precious friend only and they already dating and you're dating someone to forget about their feeling so they can stay friend only is the most emotional and most hated thing in every manga romance story. Because it is so sad when you think of it that how much the love have been bear from the longest time only be hurt by normal thing and you force yourself to do the same normal thing to forget about your feeling to they.
