Probably used MTL to get this out there. They should change the translation tool they're using.Mentioned this before in the previous chapter, but there seems to be some disconnect with the new (probably) set of people within LHT working on this. Already established naming standards are not adhered to, not to mention some misses in grammar is kind of jarring. I appreciate the work and happy this getting releases in a timely manner now, but I hope things can straightened out in the quality department.
I get we ran out of source material, but this feels not just like winging it, but a total rehash.. I can't say I'm liking this new direction at all..
But the planet did already have space technology, even better than the Empire’s. Did you miss the Adventurer’s Guild using a quantum entanglement communication network, or the continent using metal replicators that are better than the ship’s own fabbers?I would give the story more slack if they didn't suddenly decide that "Actually, the medieval mud planet had space technology all along and super secret agents that are totally stronger than the galatic soldier we've been following." and all of this is revealed as soon as they ran out of source material.
Just stick to the nation building and intrigue.

Yeah, it was part of the story for awhile. This recent arc is just dealing with the combat-tech that the planet somehow has.But the planet did already have space technology, even better than the Empire’s. The intrigue was even based on the Prime Minister having a secret metal replicator that he is using to create counterfeit coins and laundering them through bandit groups.
And did you forget that Alan isn’t some supersoldier, but a tech officer that regularly loses against Sharon and Selena, who only have downloaded combat skills.
Probably because they need a win in a specific way. Sure you could drone strike him, but having your leader, daughter of a Hero of your nation, defeat him in single combat where all can see and spread the tale of her victory, probably has a better chance of getting acceptance from the populace and institutions of the continent.Yeah, it was part of the story for awhile. What I'm wondering is "why haven't they used the 'Lasers from space/drones' tech" on this guy. They used it on the mooks. Vape his ass!

Chapter 45, Page 4. Iris says that the ship cannot reproduce the coins created by the artifacts. They're not better than his ship's fabricators, they are just a lot better than what the period in history is supposed to be.
I think if they built up the bad guys more this could be much more believable. In the LN it's mentioned (I guess I don't need to spoil this since we're well past the point) that there are certain ancient ruins that glow gold and have powerful artifacts. If they simply cut away and showed homeboy getting his hands on some, that would work a lot better.
That said, I don't know why our girl is being such a jobber.
