Out of topic but author please let Hebikawa be a bad person, we don't need the "it's a misunderstanding" trope which turns into a love triangle (or even love square if Kusunoki's friend fall in love with mc too)
I get the feeling she's not going to end up as an unredeemably horrible evil person - it does seems like there was some serious misunderstanding going on in the past, though it's hard to tell given we've only seen the MC's internal perspective and a few hints of Hebikawa's perspective. But one thing that's really clear at this point is that Hebikawa is
not a particularly nice person - she's far too self-centred and arrogant, and she doesn't seem to care about how other people feel, even people whose feeling she
should care about (like, say, the guy she's apparently decided she likes?)
Unless the story goes through a serious direction change Hebikawa is going to end up being the not-evil-but-still-bad antagonist that serves to highlight just how much better the
real love interest is.
