Legacy reader is officially retired from today.

Due to changes we were forced to make the legacy reader is no longer working from today. It will NOT be receiving any updates to make it work from this point. It is officially dead. All accounts have been switched over the default reader. The old toggle is still present at the moment, but using it will result in no images loading.

Quick reminder that if you are behind a firewall you have no control over and traffic on non-standard ports is blocked you will need to go to <https://mangadex.org/settings> and set MD@H Port limit: SSL Port (443) only on.

edit: we've now removed the toggle to turn legacy reader on since it'll lead to incorrect "broken image" reports flooding the mod queue

Well that explains why that happened then. I was also going to complain about still being unable to save images in the modern reader on ios, but it seems like it works now and that was the only reason I was still using the legacy version so whatever

Oh, sad. At least I can still read a scant few previously loaded chapters in the superior reader.

Any way to get images loading again? I switched the toggle back to legacy before reading this post, and after reading it I switched to default, but now nothing loads even on the default reader.

Edit: nvm it's just slow as hell. Wow, about 10 times slower.
