To clarify the position of 'social and comments': Social posts and post comments will be expanded to group 2. When we are confident, we can fight the betting/adult spam on posts and post comments; we will expand it to group 3. Then, and only then, will we switch title comments and chapter comments to the new system.
People dislike change; this is nothing new, but the forum-style commenting system doesn't work well when it's separated to this degree, which is why it's happening. Until the switch-over is complete, both systems will remain accessible and linked.
It's not that we dislike changes, it's just that forum style commenting works better than Social media style commenting, tbh.
Like, what's the advantage of Social Media style commenting that can't be done in Forum Style commenting? Genuinely asking cause I really don't see any advantage of Social Media style commenting.
(Personally I even like the way it's like now that if you click the link on chapters, it took you to that chapter's forum, although I don't know if it's popular opinion or not).
Regarding "hypocrites": Supporters provide vital resources for the platform's long-term sustainability, whether they subscribe or add data entries that allow other users to find great titles to consume and support. It's okay to question things, but more than once in this thread, you've just been hostile. Please be a positive member of the community, or remove yourself from it; we're done with pointless drama.
I don't know if this is directed to any specific person, but I don't think it's necessary to say this.
People are voicing their dissatisfaction because they do care about the forum (or the site), if you remove that all, then what you got is basically just an echo chamber.
I didn't mean any disrespect with my comment, I was basically just voicing my dislike for Social Media style comment.
(If I do came as harsh, I apologize for that).
(But I also know I'm nobody XD)
