People who thinks the traps are going perfectly are forgetting one thing: the house is most likely rigged to the roof with traps. Every room must have one and probably they're different each. Maria just have to lead this dumbass to the closest one or most likely to leave him in a helpless state, and if one doesn't work (like with the explosion), another one will, and another one after that until he finally breaks. It's not contrivance, it's redundance. But the darts' precision WAS a bit contrived...

I don't think those two arses are going to appear. Maria planned this with time and care; she's unlikely to overlook something as vital as leaving a GPS where it would harm her.

Where did she get most of any of this? This is weeks of practice, a lot of Google searches, and then a month of testing. How did she afford any of it?

Right, but not a single trap failed. At all. And she's prepared too well. This isn't Home Alone. Where the hell is she getting stuff for explosives, and grounded harpoons, and then also getting good enough with a crossbow to hit a moving target, and a power source, and...

Considering it's been two years since Nagare's death, we can assume she spent most of that time training and saving up money to buy stuff. Hell, we saw her give a "favor" to the principle, who's to say she didn't also give others to people who'd give her weapons or money?

Yeah, no. The story's made it clear she blew the principal once to get her position, then lead him on for a while after that. These are all oddly specific things to have worked on in the first place. And even if she somehow specifically practiced to, among other things, make bombs and electrified harpoons, that's still weeks of prep, and WAY too much money for a single home. The best case scenario here is she specifically planned this over a year ago, then spent all her time off-screen fine-tuning everything. The worse is she came up with this recently, then just magically put it all together. There's only so much contrivance I'm willing to put up with.

The drowning trap? That was plausible. A hose, some silicone, a combination lock, and a rusty saw. That's not hard to do. The difficult thing was getting the boy there. But that's not exactly hard to do either.

At some point i started to believe he is a fucking terminator. What kind of pain tolerance this fucking rambo reject has?
To be honest, I am chalking it up to adrenaline. If there is any chance of him escaping, he would probably die once it wears off. I know, worked part in emergency rescue. Fireman carried two unconscious kids from a burning house, only to find out that a metal rebar pierced his thighs. Luckily, no bone was struck.

She must be getting all of that via crypto investments and the dark web
