Yeah, I need to get this rant off because WTF.

I kinda figured the moment Heesu put the idea that Mia might still like him in his head, I knew this ish was over.

I don’t know why I had hope that this author might do something different and go against the grain, but who was I kidding—clearly that was cope.

I really like Mia, don’t get me wrong. I love that she has this newfound confidence and that she’s having fun living a normal university life after what she’s gone through. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that she left without a word.

At the same time, Heesu has a lot of baggage, and it’s obvious she has a lot of insecurities about Taesoo genuinely liking her—especially since she’s seen how vehemently he was looking for Mia. Plus, she’s never really been loved before, especially since her family only see her as a “product” to improve their business standing.

But you can tell she loves Taesoo. At first, she took him in as a means of rebellion to escape her situation, if only temporarily, but she genuinely started to fall in love with him. She fell for the fact that he was able to do something she never could—leave his family behind. The fact that he listened to her problems but never judged her. The fact that after living together for six months he never made a move, and his flustered reactions when she teased him about it.

But most importantly, she saw his devotion and sincerity—him chasing a “ghost” for five years. She’s never had that kind of love directed at her, and that’s something she craved.

I want her to be happy. Mia is clearly hanging over her head, and that’s stopping her from fully committing to a relationship. But her saying “I really want to win” implies she doesn’t intend to give up. I know it won't happen but I hope he picks Heesu. She's a mature older girl for one. She's pretty. She took him in when he had no where else to go. And they clearly like each other.

Still… it’s not looking good, Heesu bros. The author doesn’t have the cojones to be different :meguuusad:

Also, is the tall onee-san the one who helped Mia in her low point?

About the leaving I thought it was clear Mia didn't have a choice in the matter?

She was first introduced by name in Chapter 21, over the phone with Mia, with a frame showing her from the back in a law firm. She appeared again in the festival bumping into Taesoo. Given how she is portrayed and how Taesoo almost mistook her for Mia for a moment, she has to be blood related somehow to Mia (she was adopted after all as revealed in Chapter 19), and Mia must have picked up her new style and look from this tall woman. Might also explain Mia's growth spur if she has this kind of tall genes in her genome.

I would hope at this point in the plot progression, we'd finally gonna get some honest conversations and reveals in this arc between Mia and Taesoo and what happened in the past. You cannot move on, most past, or rekindle something without first addressing the kinds of things these two went through.

Sure everyone would like to at least have it be done face to face if you’re gonna get dumped, and if I fell out of love with the person that wouldn’t be too hard. If I did still love them and was being forced to leave them though, I’d probably rather just disappear as selfish as that is.

If you do see them one last time they’ll prob want an explanation that you can’t really give, might make you waver too.

Man, stop complaining already. I had enough of y'all always complaining about every single thing. Let the Author do what they want. It's their story. If you don't like the "unnecessary drama" or how the author portrays their personalities and relationships, then you can drop it, but no need to announce or, worse, always complain under every single chapter. It puts me in a shitty mood.

I enjoy the story, its still something rare to have a romance/drama focused korean manhwa with a male protagonist. It often appears in mangas, but less so in manhwas, which is why its nice to have, and honestly, there is nothing wrong with it, people just complain for no reason and I'm seriously fed up with everyone complaining.

Why do people want authors to always be different? We are in it for the journey, not the ending, or else why are most people reading it?

People break up all the time. But suddenly GHOSTING your partner is something entirely different - and vile.

I think you guys are making the situation way worse than it actually is. They were still young back then, they are not fully responsible adults capable of handling their own sh*t. Mia was already ridden with guilt and sadness caused by her:
1. adoption, 2. adoptive parents getting unlucky one after another, 3. mom being sick and dying, 4. dad becoming a drunkard, 5. Taesoo's mom making her spy on her son just so Mia could pay the hospital bills for her mother...

Y'all only see the results, which is that she left without a warning and any message, but she had extreme guilt already and was blaming herself for it, and as a kid basically she was forced to leave by her Dad. There was nothing to be done.

Ghosting sucks? Yes, it does, and it makes the other half wonder what happened, but is it something that's "vile" and something to lash out over? -> No, it is NOT.

Man I am so mad about all these comments always complaining without anyone enjoying anything.

Worst is Heesu. People want her to win, but let's be real, she is more of a mess at this moment than Mia, always finding ways to reverse everything good that comes to her, simply caused by her jealousy. In my eyes, both Mia and Heesu are on the same level, and Hayoon is the only one so far who actually deserves Taesoo, but honestly, I have nothing against either of them dating him.

Even if Mia wins in the end, so what? They clearly "loved each other very much" and most likely still are, added with the fact that they never fully got to move on from their relationship. Sigghhh...

I'm just here to say:
YEEEESSS. MORE OF SEOJIN PLEASE :win:

And, the name of this series is "Mia is back". There is a really high chance Taesoo ends up together with her. If he ends up with Heesu instead, that would actually be pretty novel. Often times the FMC is worse than the other girls in the story, but the author still forces it to work. At least Mia grew a spine and is not bad at all. Imagine if we had gotten the old Mia instead and she was competing with Heesu and won just because of the drama. Man, maybe the authors do it just to mess with the readers, because it kinda looks fun from their perspective :kek:
