Yeah, I really hate it too when people pick up dead series and just leave out 2 or 3 chapters just in case the old guys want to reclaim it... Hello, the series has been dead for a year and the guy who last translated it only does so when he gets payed, so doubt he will do it again unless that happens...

its not dead lol, they sniped it from LHTranslations which still hasn't dropped it
On aggregator sites, translation will give ya brain fart tho

That is.... an understatement......
the series was never dead. it was being translated by the original group LH Translations at their normal pace. ComicDom here just returned to pick up their scam where they left off.

You mean, non-existence pace?
I mean whatever pace they are able to keep up. They never dropped this, and their translations are in my experience worth waiting for. They didn't even drop this when ComicDom (or whatever they are calling themselves now) did their scam way back. They kept on providing quality scanlation.

It's not typically considered sniping when the original group hasn't put out updates in 4 months since that's normally how long groups wait before they would consider the series abandoned by the original scan group (unless the series is on break in Japan and there simply aren't more chapters).
Do I think their TL is worth waiting for? Sure, but I also feel like they have way more series than their staff can handle since a number of series they say they're still working on haven't had updates in over a year.

given how LHTranslations has done things, i'd say this is considered sniping, since after a few months they always catch up unless a group permanently snipes it away from them

how is it a scam? they deliver what they promise. I'd rather read a barely acceptable translation than waiting 4+ months to get a new chapter with good translation

Yeah well LH isn't updating either really, I was talking about when the last chapter before this was posted, that is 12 months ago, LH posted the same 4 months ago, so that means the series is kinda dead no?

No, it's not. Snipe only happens when a series that REGULARLY updated by a group gets snipped in under than 1 month since the raw released(some even considering 1 week after the raw release is not a snipe).
LH update schedule is very inconsistent because they hold more title than their staffs can handle, 4 months is a fair game to everyone(and we aren't even talking the actual release date of the raw).

You are right in this case.
But this guy here (also known as Comicdom) sniped a lot of Managa in the past where the Groups were doing Weekly releases and causing them to drop them, always in bad Quality. I would rather wait for LH to unregularely update it instead of a crappy machine translation. Also it's funny how he tries it with another name now, after he said he doesn't want to do anything with translation in the future. This guy is just out for the money and not more.
They hold translations hostage in exchange for a "single" donation but dont make it public when they receive that donation, thus many donations come in. Also their poor quality scanlations can be done much faster than groups. Thankfully LH never dropped this but they have in the past sniped hundreds of series which are now dead cause once comicdom had the money they wanted they ghosted and left those series to rot. I would rather have a consistent loyal group over this scamming trash any day.
