No. In case of AoE attack, he could see which area was "marked" as dangerous, then proceed to avoid that area (like he did on the train), or if it was not avoidable he would trace back to the source and kill it.
Didn't he kill Ice in one of the earlier chapters? Makes me wonder if its really "Killing" things when it comes to objects without life--and just how applicable that could be. Like say for example the explosion question, what if he were to just "Kill" the explosion that would have touched / hurt him? Makes me feel like it could be more erasure or completely nullifying something on an existential or conceptual level.
Either way, color me intrigued. Looking forward to learning more about this one.
@Jeikob It's not "killing", it's applying the concept/status of death to a thing.
Hands down the best Isekai story, with the most hilarious frags.
That time when the World Eater gets bored and respawns himself as the king of the neighbor kingdom, then he gets killed off (both as the king as the World Eater) because he reckts the kings army that wants to attack him (and the World Eater decides this is not fun anymore and shows killing intent to him by wanting to eat his world). Convoluted subplot, but sure fun as hell
This has just become more interesting by simply making the MC not an OP person with cheat skills obtained out of nowhere, but by him being a sort of entity from the Japanese folklore that was educated into behaving like a regular Japanese citizen, which is then isekaid to another world.
This is some SCP Keter class threat right there. Since the kid's name has that kind of definition he's like DC's "the Precense" or Marvel's "ONE ABOVE ALL." Beings which are insanely powerful where they are absolute in the Omegaverse (Omegaverse is every reality even narrative stories ever or not yet existed is in; just that they have different forms in every reality) they are in.
Damn, consider my interest revived. Like what the others have already said, this SCP feel that this chapter introduced sure made everything MUCH more intriguing.
Looking forward to more, thanks for the chapter delle~
