Tbh she kinda deserves this for forgetting his birthday until the last minute. I’m fine with the jealously returning. At the very least I don’t think you ever stop wanting to monopolize your significant other and being jealous when someone else takes up their time with you (can’t say I’ve been in a relationship though, so more like wishful thinking). That said they should have a LOT better communication right now. The jealousy is fine, but she shouldn’t still feel like she has to keep everything bottled up inside and can’t tell him she feels jealous. Also the problem with his excessive worrying. They should be able to talk stuff like that out by now and both should be mature enough to be compromising and understanding. She shouldn’t be choosing avoidance and confiding only in her friend, and he shouldn’t be so stubborn and insistent when she clearly doesn’t like it. That’s less long term relationship you want to last forever and more short term relationship annoying boyfriend you complain to your bestie about before breaking up with him after sex (yes, I get my relationship knowledge from basic American sitcoms). Honestly, overall the story has felt pretty uninteresting since the career arc with his mom. Him meeting her parents and staying at her house was interesting too, but everything between and after the sets pf parents has felt like useless annoying drama and attempts from the author to find the plot. At this point, I’m waiting for them to graduate and an epilogue. We’ve pretty much moved past the main plot elements we started with (both characters have learned to express their true feelings and made good friends), and now it feels like the author doesn’t know where to go. It’s gotten to the point where the two main characters feel like their regressing, so something can happen. And really there’s a lot of ways to continue the story and keep it interesting despite the growth of the main characters (they’ve seemed to more or less reached where they needed to be and that was the premise, so now I’m guessing the author feels lost). They could focus on the development of the friends/side characters (who honestly feel pretty 2d compared to the main characters) and/or introduce a fee subplots; they could introduce new characters and do the same for them; they could just have the characters go through high school events and just have them confront the basic conflicts in highschool. Really they could do anything, but what’s been happening.
Oh and thanks for the translation
