thank you for the chapter, and of course when placed in a difficult situation Hinako would create a "family" to handle it. I'm interested in seeing what Carla's imouto and soon to be 'nother best girl will get up to. Also hoping for some background on Hinako's latest bodygussy...imouto. That should also be fun seeing what ends up happening when Elis tries to conscript a little sister of her own. Still loving this series and the hint there that there may be a time when Elis will have to deal with Hinako moving on from their current situation at least for a while with that graduation remark. Also way to go Wendy if at her lowest she's still establishing life goals, slay.
Also I to feel that the timeskip could be worrisome.

I think the time skip makes sense the last chapter ended with everyone in a position to regroup and rebuild for the next step of the plan. Plus it'll give a chance for some retroactive world building.

I tried to make clear the series is continuing because your impression was the same for the Japanese audience. This bit backfired really hard on the mangaka. There was a lot of damage control by the mangaka and the publisher to announce it wasn't meant to feel like the story was ending.
