Waste of time on this manga. There are better mangas which need scanlators.

For example
https://www.mangadex.org/title/36416/after-school-bitchcraft
https://www.mangadex.org/title/38972/the-middle-aged-man-who-just-returned-from-another-world-melts-his-fathercon-daughters-with-his-paternal-skill
https://www.mangadex.org/title/38912/the-survived-alchemist-with-a-dream-of-quiet-town-life
and many more

The difference between those and OSO, is that OSO is vastly more popular than the three of them combined.

Mangadex is a bad representation of how popular a manga is. On Manga Updates:\
Looking at weekly is like staring at stocks and being excited because you gained +0.14% when you lost an overall 47.4%
OSO is ranked #2791 decreased(-203)
vs
Houkago Bitch Craft is #3927 decreased(-1587)
Isekai Parent is #3014 increased(+1213)
Ikinokori is #3772 increased(+100)

If you look at the Original Source the ratings are similar:
OSO is Monthly Rank: #1532 and All Time Rank: #261
while
Bitch Craft has no Novel Updates
Isekai is Monthly Rank: #2345 and All Time Rank: #1031
Ikinokori is Monthly Rank: #1819 and All Time Rank: #713

No matter how you spin it, those other series aren't as popular. Sure translating them might help, but OSO is already known to be popular.
Why
Waste of time
on those manga when they know people are looking forward to OSO.

We are not Japanese. Unfortunately axe or not axe depends on popularity in Japan.
OSO got a lot more scanlated chapters so it's no wonder it gets more views on all aggregators. What if those other mentioned mangas got more scanlated chapters than today? Huh? Popularity among English readers will raise by a lot.

lmao, I never mentioned about popularity in Japan
I only pulled ratings from Manga Updates and Novel Updates.
Both of which are English communities.
But it doesn't change the fact that no scanlators want to do those other series.

It's a shame, I remember the good old days where scanlators would translate shit because they liked the series.
Rather than catering to kids bitching on a forum.

I won't agree with you that those other series are more worthwhile than what AinsT1ck and his group wants to scan.
And I know you won't agree with me that scanlation has no correlation to popularity.
So I'm going to say we both disagree and end the subject matter here before a mod comes in and says this is derailing the thread.

What...?
An update after half a year of chapters gathering dust?

I must be dreaming, I don't want to make up!

well hopefully this sticks, been a fan of OSO for awhile till the original LN translator stopped after reading several volumes ahead and said its more of the same and lost interest....respect the opinion, but that is still a good series even if the author wasted time on their other series which wasnt as good in between and several volumes suffered from rinse and repeat with no story progress, hopefully the Ln gets picked up and continues

And in terms of genderswap this is superior: https://www.mangadex.org/title/29276/tensei-pandemic
Unfortunately they don't update it very often.

I've read both of them and honestly "superior" is so subjective. OSO is honestly wayy better imo it's just a girly guy playing a game and accidentally getting a female avatar. Tensai pandemic is just alot of teen romantic melodrama.

No it isn't the same as Kirito. Yun's avatar in game in female but they are male IRL. You're not supposed to be able to play as the opposite sex but because of a bug the game read Yun as female and gave them a female avatar. They did try to fix it but stopped because Yun's older sister blackmailed them into playing as female. It's all explained in Chapter 1 of the Manga/Novel.

That's what in later chapters Yun isn't allowed in male only areas but is allowed in the female only areas (like sex specific dungeons and hot springs/resorts/dorms).

There is no need for the gender swap. It has so little effect that you could have just made the MC an actual girl and it would make no difference in the long term.
