The fake bullying arc is unrealistically dumb. I (and any other sane person) would have dealt with a situation like that much more aggressively and decisively. If an anonymous letter had that much power, and if I had that much evidence of foul play in my hands, I would have gotten that unreasonable teacher forced to either bow down in front of the class or quit their job, and those two assholes (fat fuck + MC's ex) beheaded in the streets like the degenerates they are.

This series is ok to read, the execution was weird yes, but if you don't mind that, you will still enjoy it, other than the story, the art is perfectly cute, and most importantly im reading this because of megane heroine, its so rare for me to see heroine with megane, mostly a support/side character, 7/10

Apparently this became a parody in chapter 24. Everyone else followed suit and cut their hair. Don’t know if the mangaka is serious or trolling but I lost brain cells when I saw it.

This series is one of those "good premise, bad execution" types. Every character is extremely one-dimensional, except the abusive ex-gf, who is only somewhat more interesting. The setup was there, but the author didn't really know how to make the characters feel believable enough to make it work.

The MC is a blank slate of a man that doesn't even get a bonus to personality from trauma, since he seems to have almost completely gotten over his abuse with no lasting effects on his character or psyche. He's just like, a dude, full-stop, nothing else going on. I get that it can take time to find yourself after escaping a relationship like this but it is not framed as him still finding himself, he's just another self-insertable nothing-burger person with his only real trait being "vague kindness". The FMC is just the "meek bookish girl with glasses" archetype with no real personality beyond liking the MC... idk, it could have been good but it's just not written well enough.

Quite the interesting premise, but unfortunately it has flaws. So it seems the MC is decisive in not wanting to have anything to do with his ex. Unfortunately, considering the fake bullying and abusive rumors plot, MC could have just done this to end it once and for all. How about he make a report too, and show all the texts he has had with his ex. Everything will come into light, especially with the witnesses who were all there to testify that she had claimed the opposite. He literally has evidence. Finish her.

Why do people think that it's weird for MC to "instantly become an ikemen when he cut his hair"? If he was an ikemen before he would be after, the thing is, when you're mentaly abused you stop taking care of yourself to the point that your appareance worsen a lot. So even someone who look good would naturaly en up looking like shit.
As for the self insert, 90% of the manga here are self insert, the majority of manga with 9+ rating are also self insert...

It's super weird to see people act like this when there is a rare manga talking about a boy getting abused by his girlfriend and trying to get over it.
