Popular new titles banner hinders UI visibility

This has been quite annoying to me. When on the mobile app, the title's banner, in most the times, provides little contrast against text elements without background. Example
As seen, a cover miniature already exists in the foreground, then there is no need for a background cover.
I'd suggest simply removing the unnecessary element to fix this issue.

Just to be clear your example is a bug, the background image has a dark semitransparent overlay, darker in the bottom and more clear at the top, here is a screenshot of the overlay

Please disable any "dark mode" third party extensions you might have enabled and use the theme switcher...
