Ah yes, the party betrayal ends with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, like always, crime goes unpunished and everything is A OK in Manga Land.

I'm not saying they have to drive the former party to ruin or anything but, attempted murder + insurance embezzling are not victimless crimes, but there's literally zero punishment here...

It’s his skill, so ok, somehow he can always deliver an open bottle to someone’s mouth at speed. Just once, just once, I wanna see a case where he slipped a bit and completely shatters the recipient’s teeth or jaw (the duel for instance was the perfect opportunity for that).

Also, somehow they know what machines are in that setting :ROFLMAO:

I know she was like squishing her stomach or something but that is not what that panel looks like
I seriously thought she was squishing something that wasn't her stomach, because with how we've seen her so far, I wouldn't put it past her to go such lengths, much like how the failed adventurer pushed the boundaries of his stupidity to the point of losing the duel.

I’m not expecting top-tier writing nor art, I get that the series is light-hearted. But come on with all the tropes. Protagonist being way stronger than he should be for a support role, easily forgives and forgets about the terrible treatment from his former teammates, and for some reason the two reasonable people (literally witnessing an attempted murder) are like, yeah we should stick with this party instead of cutting our losses entirely.

I wanted to mostly complain about the awful creature designs being straight up sci-fi robots and not fantasy-looking mechanical beasts, but the awful writing is just so hard to ignore.

Yeah, cause stabbing someone and leaving them for dead and or bait to escape is legal in that world.

Please understand, our mc now has a cute and strong black haired girlfriend, who he met cause his old party literally tried to kill him set up a meeting for them in the dungeon. Hence the old party did nothing wrong, no need for punishment at all. Logical, isn’t it ?

Honestly, why is it too much to ask for basic "Actions have consequences" and some normal justice.

It's either like this with a light slap on the wrist, or it's some extreme over the top BS where the MC does worse and you want him to die now, or it's just extreme over top BS in all aspects, just becoming glorified torture-porn. (like that one series).
