@Nyanu thanks for the translation, but can you please fix this double page? #giveLoveToDoublePagesView attachment 2831
Time to scold the raw provider(fellow fan of the series)
Edit: He says they are not double pages in the raw. Like they are separated.
Edit2: my other rp said it is indeed a merged oage and the first one misunderstood something. Oh well, he knows about it now. Intold him to take care of it next time.

To be fair, Akira is, thanks to Alpha, very much the expert MC with a harem following him around. He saves everyone all the time and no one ever dies. So it's not about reality, but Akira's "cheat skill"-level support.
He also has a much smaller ego.
I mean Akira doesn't really have a harem. He only has one girl actively interested and seeking.
Two of them mostly like him because he saved them, and Shizuka is more of a mother/big sis than anything else.
The women in his life are skilled and don't need him. Elena and Sarah have saved him multiple times and it's shown that they're much more skilled than he is.
My primary meaning is that they're basically opposites in how they handle the world they're in.
Akira goes through the world dealing with the consequences of his decisions. If he's saving someone it's because they matter, or it's the mission, and usually he's taking an ass beating to do it. Nothing he does is free, and he doesn't behave as if he's in a carefree world where he can just "save" people on a whim.
He acts as if he could lose his life at any point and he's only where he is because of Alphas support.
The other guy is the exact opposite.
It's easy for him to save people, he doesn't seem to have to face the hardship while doing it. In fact he's arrogant about it, ignoring how he puts himself in danger and drags his team around to risk their lives as well.
He genuinely seems to be very skilled. So much so that he can afford to drag along weak girls who's primary role is to support his ego. They don't grow, they don't teach him anything. They're just there, following him around.

I dunno, the gun dealer basically breastfeeds him and begs him to come back every time he visits. The girls in this manga definitely give preferential treatment to the MC to a ridiculous degree. It’s a harem as much as Goblin Hero is a harem.

If I were wanting to continue off in the LN, what volume and chapter should I start off to?

This was either planned, or the MC is finally catching a break and the Bad Thing is happening to someone else.
It feels really contrived that he suddenly had the urge to wander off, but everyone made sure to bring extra guns and ammo.

Fuckin Jeebus.

Between Akira (an appropriate name, as he constantly acts like a child) and Katsdoucheya, this manga is basically a lesson on why acting like a rich, spoiled, whiny, incompetent child is a poor strategy when you aren't one.

I just can't understand why these mental infants keep acting like this, though; they never, ever, act like children/teens who grew up in a violently aggressive dystopia.

I've been to West African countries where child-soldiers were all over the place; by the time those kids were 14, they were physically smaller than most their age, but they wouldn't do the stupid shit that these people do.

The amount of "I'mma go pout cos I feel poopy! I'm never gonna listen when people warn me about things, cos I duwanna! I'm tough and never trust anybody, unless they are plainly untrustworthy!"
It's just fucking stupid; it's like the author has no idea how the world or people work, outside of their apartment and childhood experiences.

And that's called "bad writing."

I mean, mangaka could at least talk to old people in his local farm areas; if nothing else, they'd have a clue as to human reactions to minor difficulties...
