So people who can't pay or have access to entertainment should just not have it because it's not their "right"?unlike scans, when you buy from publishers, you support the author! cry more about not getting a free lunch! manga is entertainment, not a right. be glad you've got the opportunity to pay your fair share for the product, you grubbly little consumers.
People who can't pay will pirate rips, just like with any other type of media. So people who can't pay or have access to entertainment should just not have it because it's not their "right"?
Yeah its really good that there's a way to support the creator of the series, but if the scanlator steps down this IS bad news for a lot of people who can't pay for this.
Not sure if you noticed, but just with scanlation the author gets NOTHING.I don't know JNC, but the truth about most of the industry is that the author will be seeing a REALLY small cut of the money you're paying for the work.
MD allows scanlations even if there are officials, so unless the group decides to drop the title or remove their chapters, you can still read the scanlation for the latest ones if you can't wait. There are more issues really, like how much time you'll have to wait until the official translation catches up.
