Even the manga points it out that MC can't insta cast itSo stupid to be afraid of the trip, just teleport to escape at anytime not like you wont see a big monster coming.
He understood that this would happen the moment he accepted everything. Marrying a queen will bring a lot of attention to him, and he was well aware of that from the start. But I don't think Aura has pushed him more than he expected at any point. It still bugs me that he's having to do all this work, when he was promised the absolute opposite
That not reliable to do in an emergency. Their teleportation requires preparation mentally and physically.

Sounds like lack of training. Maybe he should take time off from official duties and get better at it. Actually, that would also be an official duty since it's up to the royal bloodline to handle teleportation, with nobody else able to do it. So, it's practice, practice for him!
That is an interesting concept, and one that’s sadly outside the scope of this story: how will civilization develop in a world where the divine right of kings is not only real, but trivially provable?Queen explained in 2 panels why the Marshall isn't a danger to the throne what I took 2 pages worth to do.
Well, it's easier to explain the need to legitimacy in a kingdom to rule, especially one that takes after more advanced kingdoms in our history, when you can sum up the support of all the institutions of governance with "because magic bloodline".
Nah, that'd be instant war with Uppsala. Maybe on the way back, after her father agrees to the arrangement. Not before.Things are getting interesting. I wonder if he and Freya will consummate their relationship on the trip?
I find it crazy that the both Aura and Zenjirou already had a talk about the "living a lazy life" thing, and how Zenjirou himself said that he figured out pretty early that it would be impossible to just live a life holed up in the palace. It was a doomed dream anyway. Only two persons can use the teleportation magic, and he's one of them. Being able to use it makes you a part of the royal family. There was not going to be any rest for him. The only thing Aura has spared him from, though not entirely, is the burden of taking responsibility for big decisions. Of course it's also to ensure the power will remain in Aura's hands, but it's more important for Zenjirou himself, as it makes his life a lot easier. That being said, I do enjoy the moments when folks try to push him into making decisions.
Still, as long as Zenjirou doesn't feel responsible for all that much, it does show when he's judging his own comfort against what's good for the nation. If he's not making decisions and watching the results, good or bad, he's not bound to the kingdom on a personal level. He's naturally bound to his wife, the queen, who will rise and fall with the kingdom, but it still won't feel like a personal project Zenjirou would love to see flourish.
Actually, it's not a very good explanation. I mean, I expected that she didn't consider him a threat to her throne, but definetly not for the reason she stated. Because it's not a valid reason - Puyol must have bloodline magic, he was the second in line to marry her if the MC hapened to refuse and it was already stated that having this ability is an absolute requirement, since the goal is to produce heirs who possess said magic. His might not be as powerful as Aura's or even Zenjiro's, but if he managed to overthrow the current royal family, this point would be moot, since he'd be the the strongest bearer remaining and thus have no trouble being recognized as king.Queen explained in 2 panels why the Marshall isn't a danger to the throne what I took 2 pages worth to do.

Or he hoped his kid would be capable of using magic after banging the queen. He might be a muggle, but he can help make a wizard.Actually, it's not a very good explanation. I do not think this is a possibility. In chapter 4 Puyol tried to hoist his sister on Zenjiro as a concubine, selling her on the fact that, even if she has a distant relation to the royal family, she still has bloodline magic (page 32). It reinforces the concept that a valid candidate for "relations" with royalty, should be another bearer of this ability, at least in the eyes of Capua's nobles. It would therefore make zero sense for Puyol himself to be a highly regarded candidate for a queen's spouse, if he did not posess it.Or he hoped his kid would be capable of using magic after banging the queen. Then it's possible he has it very very weak or recessive gene.I do not think this is a possibility. I suppose it can't be ruled out, but such a thing would probably be a plot point or at least a demonstrated character trait. He's considered the best general in the kingdom, comes from a prestigious family and has the loyalty and admiration of many, soldiers included. Being a "whelp" would be a serious impediment to such a man, it would mean that he's far more amazing than previously though, for having made it this far despite it. I can't imagine Aura wouldn't have brought it up with Zenjiro. Then it's possible he has it very very weak or recessive gene.
